Y: CREATURES

The dark corners of an underground bar, are opening up the sacred identities of incomers. Hidden, concealed; flourishing, magical, different. Creatures, monsters, dark heroes - not humans nor pets. Humans-a bit, but not tamed or good. Despite (or that´s why?!) that, we are cleaning the space for them – we want to become friends, learn the unexpected kinships, and learn about their lives in the darkness. Maybe, at the sun dusk, we will leave transformed.

Y: CREATURES BAR, the specific night stage of Kutná Hora Performing Arts Festival, opens itself for the formats on the edges of theatre, performance art, dance, opera or visual art. The Bar pod schodama, a famous local place in Kutná Hora, was transformed by the art & design due Hadaikum into a temporary cave full of shimmering actions of various creatures and night beings. Performances by Czech, Berlin and international artists will be held every day. The other part of the programme happened in “magical tent”, where artists delivered a special dring together with micro-performance in an one-to-one format.

This event was part of Kutná Hora Performing Arts Festival.
