Y: Until Forever feat. Temple Of
An event of devotion. For ever and ever.
And what if the unstable and turbulent waters of the present are turbulent and unstable forever? Imagining stability has never borne fruit, so we want to seek out time frames where the tempests and waves coalesce into playful images that carry us away.
Onwards and upwards to the deep time of the Earth. And yet we don’t want to accept the current reality as endless – the end of history, the end of security, the end of wellbeing. Y: Until Forever opens up a different perception of time, seeking out those with whom we will actually be here until who knows when. Perceiving the interconnectedness of all crises, we don’t want to lock ourselves away with chains that will eventually grow over with thorns so that no one can reach us. We want to imagine ourselves, our power and our lives in ten years, in a hundred years, in a millennium. With the final event of 2025, we want to add longevity to our dreams.
This event is organised in close collaboration with Temple Of – a collective of immigrant artists from SWANA (South and West Asia and North Africa) and beyond.
