From dawn till dusk, Theatre X10 offers an online slow TV show* on its digital channels. A ten-hour stream invites us to share our time and space with nine artists who relax, work, have breakfast, have lunch, take walks, go shopping and most importantly take care of others (of their children, patients, close ones and strangers, animals, plants) - just like we all do. In one-hour time slots, the artists create content that does not require the full attention of the audience; the programme simply runs in the background of our computers, alongside other natural and social cycles we experience at any given moment.
We need to pamper our fragile bodies; we need to take care of other peoples’ bodies and be cognizant of our vulnerability. We need to try to balance work and rest, our body and world around us, solitude and mutuality. We need to find a shared “us”.
Stream will be available on You Tube channel .

*Slow television, or slow TV, is a term used for a genre of "marathon" television coverage of an ordinary event in its complete length. It was popularised in the 2000s by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), beginning with the broadcast of a 7-hour train journey in 2009. [In: Wikipedia.org]
