Theatre X10 is introducing another evening in the series of events which connect and enable communication between genres and fields, local and international (art) scene.

Y: Designining Worlds connect virtual and physical sharing by streaming an online event taking place at the studio in the Theatre X10. The focus on the zine medium (independent print medium, usually a magazine) puts emphasis on the physical sensations experienced while reading or leafing through zines and consequently creates a possible alternative version of zine sales.

Zine as an object crafted at home or in another specific environment, made from a rich variety of materials. A carefully typeset zine printed on glossy paper, a zine simply printed at home or a painted zine sewn on a sewing machine. A zine as a personal gallery, an ironic commentary about the cultural scene, as a way of community communication, as an appeal for ecological responsibility.

Six zines - six authors/collectives meet via streamed activities, happening in a present timespace, penetrating the immediate space of viewers/readers - via many different scents, materials, textures, surfaces, sizes, forms as well as thoughts, inspirations and fascinations.
