Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?

Through words and sounds the play examines the means of communication between humans, humans and animals, actors and the audience. When is the word born, to whom is it addressed and when does it perish? Which words should be heard, which words have to be shouted, whispered? Which words are twisted, ruined, ironized? When does communication become pseudo-communication? Words do not subside, words echo, words lose their meaning. Shakespeare’s Romeo has switched places with a common dolphin, eeny meeny miny moe, catch a tiger by the toe, one, two, three, this is me, plop-bang, gobble-gobble, love, pegged out … Word in the defence of word and human speech, the demonstration of brute force of phrase and squawks, silence dying away.
