What would make your life worth living?

We all long for it. No one is ever satisfied. And so we decide to change our destiny. What do we want to look like? Who do we want to be? Who are we, really? What do we know about the dreams and drives of others? One person seeks purity, the other the abyss, a man in a cafe wishes to create an immortal work, a man on the street wishes to leave behind him nothing at all. A young woman is dreaming of becoming an actress, seeking to turn her life into a novel, a thirteen-year-old girl is searching for her true father.
Individual fragmentary fates intertwined, reflected by one another, counterbalancing each other and creating a complex and rich portrayal of the search for that portentous moment that can justify a human life. Is it necessary for a personal utopia to fall apart in the face of reality? What is the relationship between art and fact? Can even Palatine liverwurst be a source of life fulfillment?
