Anna Chrtková

She is an artist whose work oscillates between scene design, intermedial and social work practice. In 2019, she and the Intelektrurálně collective won the Award for Imagination of the Prague Quadrennial for their project Prague is not the Czech Republic. She co-operates with various theatres (HaDivadlo in Brno, Činoherní studio in Ústí nad Labem, Studio Alta, etc.) as a scene designer. Her work aims to explore dimensional boundaries in relation to humans and works of art, autonomy of objects within the scenic expression, and the delusion of identity borders in the context of invisible relationships.
