Dreams from Concrete is an audio walk featuring several short stories that explore various aspects of city life, including light pollution, noise, public space, traffic, heat, and more.
As you wander through the city while listening, you'll discover new contexts and perspectives on familiar places, encouraging a closer look at your surroundings and the details of the urban environment.
This experience invites reflection on urban issues, prompting you to consider what cities need, what we have started to overlook, and how we can better appreciate and care for them. The aim is to spark curiosity and foster discussions about how we use and experience cities, work and move within them, and admire both their beauty and their flaws.
To participate, you'll need a smartphone with the audio files downloaded and headphones.
You can enjoy the walk with Eva Lietavová and Patrik Boušek on Friday, September 20, at 14:00 (in CZ/EN). We will start close to sv. Barbora (meeting point is Corpus Christi Chapel) and end in the park under Vlašský dvůr (where the festival chapitó is).
